Watch: 2,977 Drones Symbolise the Victims of the September 11 Attacks

Impressive videos show 2,977 drones flying over New York Harbour and forming illuminated silhouettes of the World Trade Centre’s Twin Towers. Each drone symbolised one of the 2,977 victims killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The Sky Elements display took place two days before the tragedy’s 25th anniversary. The drone formations appeared alongside Tribute in Light, the two traditional beams illuminating the sky above Lower Manhattan in remembrance of the victims. (New York Post)
