Everyone’s Picking Sides, But What’s the Truth?

In this video, Steven Eugene Kuhn speaks about the fact that everyone’s taking a side in the current wars both in Ukraine and between Israel and Iran. But very few are asking the most critical question: what’s true?

Kuhn states that we’re living in an age where media narratives are fragmented, leaders are posturing for survival or dominance, and the rest of the world is sleepwalking into something far bigger than a regional feud. What’s unfolding isn’t just about borders, ideology, or history. It’s about control, perception, and global realignment.

Israel can’t afford to appear too strong. It risks losing international sympathy from being perceived as the perpetual victim if it does.

Iran, conversely, can’t afford to appear too weak. The moment it does, cracks in the regime could widen and collapse.

So what do both sides do? They shape the narrative carefully and strategically. And the truth gets buried under spin, silence, and strategic misdirection.

This isn’t a simple story of good versus evil. It’s not a comic book war. This is controlled escalation, a political dance meant to test limits, gauge reactions, and redraw real-time influence.

If one continues to choose sides based on what makes one feel morally comfortable or emotionally justified, one does not see the whole picture. One is playing into the game that’s been set up.

Let’s not be the generation that traded critical thinking for slogans and hashtags. Let’s look deeper. Ask harder questions. Challenge both sides. And above all, let’s not mistake narrative for truth. Let’s do better.
