USAID sponsored male circumcision to teach African men that women are the boss
Media reports confirm that USAID, under the Biden administration, was used as a U.S. government propaganda tool in foreign countries. Even more concerning is that billions of dollars were spent to promote narratives encouraging violence against men in different nations.
One clear example is the U.S.-funded circumcision programmes in Africa, which were not driven by medical necessity but aimed at teaching men “who is boss.” This effectively ended discussions on gender equality and patriarchy in this case.
Even more alarming is that this political propaganda was also introduced in Malta, imposed through the American Embassy at Ta’ Qali, with support from Members of Parliament from both sides. In Malta, we started to hear that our society is patriarchal and that there was a need for us to change the way how we see things. In the process, we ended up filling the prison at Corradino with men who were going through acrimonious separation procedures. The circumcision was not physical but psychological.
