Malta’s ex-EU Commissioner John Dalli describes the current EU as “dysfunctional”.

Yesterday, this site uploaded an article published in the Daily Telegraph. In this article, there was a forecast about the upcoming EU elections. The forecast is that the Far Right Parties will win in the next EU elections, and the Socialists and the EPP will lose their current hegemony and their hold on EU structures. The ex-EU Commissioner, John Dalli, reacted to this article and wrote a comment beneath it stating that:

Europe is dysfunctional. It has consistently followed policies and actions that proved a failure. This is eroding the faith and confidence of the European Citizens who are yearning for leaders who show an understanding of the issues facing us and who are concentrating on proper action rather than media coverage.

  1. For the coming EU elections, a vote to Norman Lowell will send a strong message to the local establishment, the major political parties in Malta and also to the European establishment, that of Brussels.

  2. Agree 100% with John Dalli.
