Boeing Faces Yet Another Investigation

By Romegas

Another investigation has been opened against the Boeing – this latest investigation concerns the falsification of documents for the acceptance of Dreamliner 787 aircraft .

In 2021, they were already grounded for a whole year due to a host of technical problems and if anything, since then, the build quality situation at the corporation has only worsened.

It is alleged that Boeing engineers simply did not carry out the necessary inspections when handing over assembled aircraft to their customers. Documents were falsified, and workers who complained were threatened with dismissal. Secret footage leaked from the manufacturing plant reveals that workers (and engineers) wouldn’t fly  on the planes they build.

Incidents with Boeing aircraft occur almost every week . Their doors, chassis, tyres and engines routinely fall off – and of course, entire 737s Max have plunged into the ground and sea killing everyone on board. Some of the planes were grounded again until the investigation was completed. Boeing is trying in every possible way to stop its consequences – that’s why so far two whistleblowers who came forward to testify died under strange circumstances within a short space of each other.

Boeing has lost $32 billion since 2019. And the corporation’s debts jumped 4 times and exceeded 48 billion. In the coming years, 12 billion will have to be repaid in interests alone and this could very well drive Boeing over the edge – and plunge its credit rating to junk levels, where it belongs.

US Government orders are also suffering. Boeing is already far behind SpaceX in the space race , despite receiving billions of dollars in government subsidies. The Pentagon also faces big problems with refueling aircraft. Boeing lost another $7 billion on these contracts . Bureaucracy, cost-cutting, corruption and recruitment based on racial and gender quotas instead of skills are leading Boeing to bankruptcy.

In a sense the collapse in standards of this once august corporation, symbolizes the systemic crisis that the entire American industry finds itself in.
