In Brussels, the rumour is that Helena Dalli is campaigning to be appointed the next President of the Republic of Malta

Rumours are rife in Brussels that Helena Dalli, the Maltese European Commissioner, is on a relentless campaign to get appointed as the next President of the Republic of Malta.

It is common knowledge in Brussels that she has been asking her staff and services to remove any references to abortion from her speeches for her to become an acceptable candidate for the presidency of Malta.

This is seen as a betrayal within her European constituency and those militating for abortion in Europe. A member of this group contacted this site and said that Dalli’s behaviour is a flagrant disregard of the commitments she gave during her hearing in front of the European Parliament.

The extent of her degree of opportunism has not gone unnoticed where it has been observed that the days she spends on the job are close to none – to the extent that she has to advertise on her social media accounts that she is at her office working (with a strong emphasis on being busy). However, the person who contacted this site said she is just pretending to be at work.
