Il Tempo Exposes Francesca Albanese’s Support for Hamas and Attack on Press Freedom – The Silence of Malta’s Media

The Tempo denounces Riana Albanese, the UN envoy, for supporting the terrorist organisation of Hamas and that she is using the law, together with her lawyer, to silence journalists who are not in line with her thinking. Ironically, in Malta, no mainstream media speak about these facts. On the contrary, our mainstream is, in the end of the day, behind Hamas, because today, Hamas is being supported by the Italian Left. This explains why articles have appeared in the local press, such as one in Lovin Malta, in support of Albanese’s work.

On a personal note, I would like to express my solidarity with Il Tempo. This website has gone through experiences that are very similar to what Il Tempo is now facing. In my case, lawyers with close links to the Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation instituted judicial proceedings against this site to legally and financially stifle it. In Malta, court cases and legal fees are prohibitively expensive, and such actions are designed to drain resources. At the same time, these organisations benefit from EU funding, which is used to silence dissenting or uncomfortable voices.
