Elon Musk’s Estranged Daughter Vivian Performs in Drag at Anti-ICE Fundraiser

In a powerful show of personal and political identity, Vivian Jenna Wilson, the estranged transgender daughter of billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk, made her public drag debut at a politically charged fundraiser in Los Angeles earlier this week. Performing under the stage name Vivllainous, Wilson took the stage at “Pattie Gonia Presents: SAVE HER!” – a benefit event to raise money for legal support for undocumented immigrants facing deportation.

The fundraiser, held at The Bellwether on June 13, brought together queer performers, activists, and allies in a night of celebration, resistance, and advocacy. All proceeds from the event were directed to organisations providing legal defence for migrants, underscoring the show’s central theme: solidarity with immigrant communities targeted by U.S. immigration enforcement.

Images from the event show Vivian dressed in a striking silver bodysuit, waving a transgender pride flag with pride and confidence. While official press outlets such as People and Page Six focused on the positive reception of her performance, social media posts and alternative sources pointed to a more explicitly political atmosphere. Banners reportedly displayed slogans like “Fk ICE**” and “No One Is Illegal on Stolen Land,” echoing long-standing critiques of the U.S. immigration system and its historical foundations.

Vivian Jenna Wilson legally changed her name in 2022, distancing herself from Musk and affirming her identity as a transgender woman. Her appearance in this drag performance signals not only a break from her father’s controversial political positions—particularly on issues related to gender identity and immigration—but also a firm embrace of activism through art.

The event was organised by climate and LGBTQ+ activist Pattie Gonia, known for blending drag performance with environmental and social justice causes. “SAVE HER!” brought together a coalition of performers to highlight the overlapping struggles of marginalised communities, particularly queer and undocumented individuals.

Vivian’s debut was met with cheers and applause from the crowd and supportive coverage from major LGBTQ+ and entertainment outlets. For many, her performance marked a bold assertion of autonomy and defiance in the face of estrangement and political division.

In a cultural landscape increasingly shaped by polarised debates around immigration, gender, and identity, Vivian Jenna Wilson’s onstage presence is more than a personal milestone—it’s a public declaration of solidarity and resistance.
