The Labour Party CEO Randolph Debattista calls me “shit” because I am a candidate in the forthcoming European elections!

The Labour Party’s Chief Executive Officer, Randolph Debattista, has described me as a piece of shit because I am writing about his political activities. Kindly note that I shall carry on writing.

I want to ask Randolph Debattista why, during the Labour parliamentary group meeting, he began suggesting that it would be best for the Labour parliamentary members to put down collectively in their declaration of assets what their property is used for. Is this how much this politician understands transparency?

Why is Randolph Debattista afraid of declaring his property? Debattista entered parliament without a vote, and his partner is an MEP. As soon as I criticize and ask him questions, he begins shouting that I am doing so because I am homophobic!

If ever there was anybody who harassed a gay person, this was precisely Randolph Debattista’s partner, Cyrus Engerer. It should be recalled that Cyrus Engere was found guilty of revenge porn after publishing a photo of his former partner, who is also gay. Because Joseph Muscat forgave him, Cyrus Engerer insulted him, and his partner, Randolph Debattista, did not want Joseph Muscat to contest the European elections.

Randolph Debattista is behaving like the Repubblichini, who can insult people to their heart’s content. Imagine whether I had called him ‘ħara’ or shit. He would rally all the media, and soon, they would all be talking about hate speech. Then, the police, supported by a particular lawyer working at the AG, would draw up the accusations. The AG office would then manoeuvre the case in court in such a manner as to ensure that a proper magistrate or judge who shares such views is found to state that all this is hate speech!
