Book: “Sworn in Secret: Freemasonry and the Knights Templar” by the 32 degree Mason and Historian Sanford Holst

By Marica Micallef

Nations need to understand the historical context of Freemasonry and Freemasons, which will lead them to the Cabal or the True Illuminati. Through research, one discovers the truth in a world of secret societies and deals made on a grand scale in the shadow of a shadow government. We are in the midst of a battle for world dominance, for the absolute submission of the masses. The answer lies in the reconstructed history of the Knights Templar.

From Sumer to Babylonia, to Canaan and Khazaria, then onward to Europe, to the Knights Templar, and more, is all an intricate part of the history of Freemasonry. The Knights Templar are also known as the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and the Temple of Solomon, or the Order of Solomon’s Temple. However, they were everything but poor. They were a military order of the Church, were of aristocratic lineage with an appointed Grand Master, and had even adopted the equal eight-pointed cross as their symbol. Their cross was similar to the one used by the Knights of Saint John, and today, this cross is known as the Maltese Cross.

While this site will present blogs about the Knights Templar, the readers are invited to start with a book called “Sworn in Secret, Freemasonry and the Knights Templar” by historian Sanfold Horst.

“Sworn in Secret, Freemasonry and the Knights Templar” explores Freemasonry’s remarkable people and influential activities. It sheds considerable new light on how the practices, symbols, and rituals of the Freemasons are taken from the presumed or thought rituals and symbols used by the knights’ Templars.

The author of the book ‘Born in Blood’ passed away in 1996. Holst was a 32-degree Mason himself and master of a research lodge. So he obtained manuscripts that were not accessible to the public and most Masons. Thanks to papers he had presented at universities in the USA and overseas, he was elected to the prestigious Royal Historical Society in England.

Sanford Holst has gathered many more discoveries and internal documents that give a deeper look into the workings of the Templars and Freemasons. The roots of Masonry are traced to Solomon’s Temple, the rise of Christianity, and the Crusades, causing this society’s relationships with stonemasons and the Templars to take on new and significant meaning. We come to see how actions by Templars and Masons affected the fall of kings in Europe, the rise of democracy, and the Vatican’s loss of its supreme position atop the Christian world. After Masonry emerged into public view in 1717, it had a strong influence on George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and other Masons who worked to create a new country in America. These experiences are often seen through the eyes of people who lived through the actual events – told in their own words and drawn from remarkable collections of records dating from those times.

A tantalizing question is asked: what practices among the Templars and Masons still affect our lives today? This well-documented book inside the secretive Templar and Masonic societies provides answers that may surprise you.
