Why are countries already stockpiling monkey pox vaccinations?

Isn’t it no coincidence that just as soon as worldwide governments have admitted that Covid could be “downgraded” to an endemic in 2022, since everyone is sick of hearing of the Wuhan virus, the monkeypox has emerged. Is the monkeypox the seed of the next pandemic which they are trying to plant? Is it another attempt to re-instil fear in the masses or is it just another distraction from what is truly going on behind the scenes?

The variola virus (smallpox virus) first appeared thousands of years ago and began causing illness and death in human communities but it was proclaimed eradicated by the World Health Assembly in 1980, and no cases of naturally occurring smallpox have occurred since.

What’s strange is that the FBI and CDC were looking into 15 “questionable vials” labelled “smallpox” that were discovered in Philadelphia in a vaccine research lab[1]. Was monkeypox created in a lab?

Around the same period, SIGA Techniques, the maker of the FDA-approved smallpox drug Tpoxx (tecovirimat), rose 6.7 percent to a three-year high, advancing for the fifth day in a row in the wake of not only the Philadelphia smallpox news, but also news that US health officials confirmed a case of monkeypox virus infection in a Maryland resident who recently returned from Nigeria.[2] This was back in November 2021! So why has monkeypox suddenly become a health issue now, months later?

What is further strange and more enigmatically, is that in the same month SIGA announced that it expects to supply as much as $113 million of Tpoxx to the US government, which has a stockpile. The US government has purchased or has current orders for around $705 million in TPOXX for national preparedness over the last decade. In May 2022, we are informed that the U.S. has bought $119 million worth of monkeypox vaccines after the first case was diagnosed in Massachusetts.[3] Shouldn’t this be the second case? What about that in Maryland? The UK is also stockpiling ‘thousands’ of monkeypox vaccines and drugs as experts are fearing that more infections are slipping under the radar.[4]

Was this already an alarm bell for nations to be on the lookout for any future “incidents” involving smallpox or monkeypox, which the world is now currently experiencing?

Times of Malta reported that rare monkeypox outbreaks have been detected in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, North America, and Europe.[5][6] Health authorities in Spain have also issued an alert over a possible outbreak of monkeypox after eight men showed symptoms compatible with the viral infection, which has also been detected in UK. The Spanish monkeypox has been linked to the Pride Festival which took place in Gran Canaria which was attended by 80,000 people.[7] Spain also tracked monkeypox cases back to a ‘sauna’ as the Spanish nation became the centre of the world’s growing outbreak.[8] Are we back to contact tracing again?

Is quarantine also back, considering that Belgium has become the first country to introduce compulsory monkeypox quarantine, whereby anyone testing positive for this virus must isolate for 21 days?[9] Malta is also following on the same footsteps since the Superintendent of Public Health Charmaine Gauci issued the new guidance that those who have monkeypox are required to quarantine and seek medical advice for 21 days at home.[10] Those who have symptoms are also required to quarantine and seek medical counsel. So far, in Malta, only one case of monkeypox has been detected.[11] According to Gauci, any positive cases must be kept in obligatory isolation for 21 days after the swab test. Swab tests? Are we back at them again?

The WHO has also called for an emergency meeting as these monkeypox cases have now topped 100 in Europe[12]. In a statement addressing the outbreak, the WHO said that “The situation is evolving and WHO expects there will be more cases of monkeypox identified as surveillance expands in non-endemic countries”. The agency is also expecting more cases to emerge as summer festivals could accelerate the spread of the disease.
