DETHRONING GOD WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING: WELCOME THE QUEER THEOCRACY

Malta once protected the Almighty from insults. In 2016, lawmakers scrapped the blasphemy laws. They called them outdated. Vague. A threat to free speech. Rational debate must flourish, they said. Ideas can be mocked. Beliefs can be challenged. Only people deserve protection from hatred.
Fine words. Now apply them to the hate speech laws that replaced the old order.
The Criminal Code jails you for six to eighteen months if your words stir “hatred” against groups defined by sexual orientation or gender identity. Threatening, abusive or insulting speech is enough. Intent is not always required. Likelihood suffices. In the list of protected traits, the queer and the transvestite sit high on top.
Parliament dethroned God. It raised new idols in His place. The queer and the transvestite now enjoy special shields. Criticise the faith of your fathers and you are modern. Criticise the latest sexual fashion and you risk the cells.
Since the hate laws came into being, this blog found itself drawn into court for five articles. Those pieces exposed the corruption in the corridors of power. They showed how the gay movement created the hate laws monstrosity. The laws cast a wide net over the definition of disseminating “hatred.”The Criminal Court of Appeal saw through the charade. It concluded that the gay movement itself had promoted the advertising of television programming. The same movement then accused that programming of being detrimental to the gay cause. This was a psyop operation. It used strategic communication to mislead the public about who truly engages in hatred.
Hate breeds self-hatred. It strangulates itself just as Lucifer did in his pride. In contrast, our right-wing blog upholds genuine freedom and impartial justice for every citizen, without regard to prevailing fashion or factional allegiance.
The public sees the travesty of our hate laws. Hundreds of MPs have served. Only one has declared herself gay. If gayness were a noble feat, candidates would parade it. They parade party loyalty without shame. They do not parade this. Silence speaks louder than any rainbow flag.
Civilised societies leave no space for hatred. Except in Malta. Express hatred for gayness and you may rot in jail. Promote the killing of the young in their mother’s womb and you are progressive. Cheer the dispatch of the moribund in their geriatric wards and you are compassionate. Love is love, they chant. Hatred is not hatred when aimed at the unborn or the frail.
The old arguments against blasphemy fit the new laws perfectly. They are vague. They chill debate. They protect feelings over facts. They punish speech against ideas and identities while claiming to defend people. The government once said speech against beliefs is free. Speech against the golden calf of the moment is not.
The court case proved the point. Those who demand protection from hatred manufacture the very offence they denounce. It is time to grow up. A law that shields some identities while celebrating the destruction of the vulnerable is not justice. It is fashion. Malta swapped one orthodoxy for another. The new one is less honest about its power. The public is not fooled.
