The medical world is now admitting that Covid-19 vaccine is causing seizures

A medical article published in the National Library of Medicine, PubMed.gov, entitled “COVID-19 vaccine-induced encephalitis and status epilepticus” by H-T Fan et. al,[1][2] published on 3rd January 2022, warns clinicians to “be aware of possible neurological complications” from post-Covid-19 vaccination.
The article’s authors report “a rare serious adverse event of refractory status epilepticus” of a healthy 22-year-old man after he received the second dose of the Moderna vaccine. Besides being healthy and young, the man had no known seizure history and no family history of epilepsy. He was admitted to hospital due to a first seizure six days after receiving the second dose, with intermittent fever which occurred for five days, followed by blurred vision the day before admission. He also had “consciousness disturbance with an upward gaze and extremity rigidity for 5 min at home”.
On neurological examination, it was reported that the man had slurred speech and memory loss. On being admitted to the intensive care unit due to another episode of status epilepticus in the emergency department, he was performed several tests, including a lumbar puncture, cerebrospinal fluid analysis and blood tests. Thanks to the blood tests, SARS-CoV-2 spike S1 receptor-binding domain (RBD) IgG in CSF, with 98.54 binding antibody units (BAU)/ml, and in serum, with 3270.22 BAU/ml (CLIA, Chemiluminescence, ADVIA Centaur XPT, SIEMENS)” was detected.
Electroencephalography showed that the man had continuous diffuse slowing in the theta and delta ranges while a cerebral perfusion scan showed mild hypoperfusion in the right temporal region, and that, probably, the seizure had originated in the right hand side of the brain.
“The diagnosis of mRNA-1273 vaccine-induced encephalitis and status epilepticus was made finally”, meaning, that it was the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine which has caused the seizure in this healthy, young man.
When two weeks later a follow-up lumbar puncture was performed on the patient, it was found out that “SARS-CoV-2 spike S1 RBD lgG had decreased in CSF but it had increased in serum. The symptoms of this patient were resolved by pulse corticosteroid therapy.
In the end, they concluded that “Convulsions/seizures may develop after vaccination with the Moderna vaccine.”
The multi-million dollar question is: how many more patients were admitted to hospital suffering from Covid-19 vaccine-induced encephalitis and status epilepticus, but were not documented?
