Mr Smith seems to believe he is above the law. He loudly demands that others be held accountable and face justice, which should never apply to him. While he relentlessly accuses everyone under the sun of corruption, it was the same Mr Smith who, during his time in power at the Lands Department, was involved in questionable dealings, e.g. Fekruna, Lowenbrau, etc. His hypocrisy knows no bounds. Mr Smith continues to project an image of a virtuous figure as if he were destined for sainthood. Adrian Delia has once accused him of fabricating lies. The current leadership of the Nationalist Party feels indebted to Mr Smith and is determined to defend him, but in doing so, the party may be sealing its fate. Only time will reveal the actual consequences.
