A few days after Daphne was murdered, Matthew Caruana Galizia’s father was already showing himself in public with his girlfriend.
After having posted and replied to Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando’s comments regarding my blog post that revealed that Dr Peter Caruana Galizia was being unfaithful to his wife Daphne Caruana Galizia, Matthew Caruana Galizia replied on Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando’s Facebook page. Pullicino Orlando had argued that it is not right that private matters concerning the Caruana Galizias are rendered public just as much as publishing private matters concerning Yorgen Fenech.
This is what Matthew Caruana Galizia wrote:

The first one you mentioned, Yorgen Fenech, killed my mother, the second [Rosianne Cutajar] was proud of what he had done and defended him and my father and mother are their victims. There is no equality between them and the fact that you make them equal shows how false and green [with envy] you are.
Indirectly, an affirmation like this shows that Matthew Caruana Galizia is responsible for the publications of these chats by Mark Camilleri. If about nothing else, Matthew Caruana Galizia agrees with Mark Camilleri that the latter was correct in publishing them. Readers have to remember that Matthew Caruana Galizia wrote to Magistrate Rachel Montebello telling her that whoever published material on which there was a court ban was seemingly in alliance with criminals! Now he is condoning the publication of chats on which there is a court ban. Indeed, this fellow has no shame besides being double-faced.
Besides who told Matthew Caruana Galizia that Yorgen Fenech is his mother’s killer? This is the narrative the Caruana Galizia family use to protect themselves. Remember that this story was rampant after the family Caruana Galizia hid and destroyed evidence in order that they would not be implicated in this crime. And this happened with the help from institutions. If they are so convinced of their own innocence, why did they not hand over the computer to the police in the first instance? After all, according to Matthew Caruana Galizia, the chief investigator is his hero!
If they are so clean, why is it that during the compilation of evidence the defence lawyers were not allowed their right to cross-examine those in the witness stand? If they are that innocent why did Matthew Caruana Galizia give different versions as to why the car was left in the street and nobody has investigated this point? Furthermore, why did he destroy the mobile of the individual who filmed his mother’s car?
After all, we are here not discussing a sexual affair that occurred years before the crime was committed. Here we are talking about an adulterous affair that was taking place in parallel with the plans being hatched to have Daphne Caruana Galizia killed. Remember that the first plan to kill Daphne originated in 2015. That fell through and was reformulated in 2017. Curiously, the emails the police has in its possession go back to 2015 and 2017. They have been kept under wraps and never presented as part of the investigations in the compilation of evidence against Yorgen Fenech in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Added to all this is the fact that the police also allowed Matthew Caruana Galizia, his father and the rest of the family the right to select magistrates and judges. Truly his mother was right when in her email to his father on the day she was killed, she told him that he has no shame. She also wrote that today there are untrustworthy individuals everywhere and wherever you look! She was right.
After all, if his father is really a victim as Matthew Caruana Galizia states, why was he being seen with his girlfriend in coffee shops in Valletta a few days after his wife’s assassination?
Give us a break! Where matters concern his father, Matthew demands they be kept secret because, always according to Matthew Caruana Galizia, they are not related to this crime. Today we have the absurd situation where this family can choose the investigative judges and decide what is relevant or not in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Yet in matters that concern Rosianne Cutajar, the Caruana Galizias expect her affairs to be rendered public but never their own. Finally, Rosianne Cutajar was never part of the plot to kill Daphne Caruana Galizia. Her name was never mentioned. It is Rosianne Cutajar who happens to be yet another victim of this family. In fact, Rosianne Cutajar was a victim of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s nasty writing. Has Matthew Caruanna Galizia forgotten the time his mother with her poison pen had called Rosianne a whore, that she had been a mistake and her mother never wanted her?
Why does Matthew Caruana Galizia not state that his entourage continued his mother’s same nasty narrative to destroy Rosianne Cutajar’s political career and succeeded! In return Prime Minister Robert Abela now wants the Kemmuna project to materialize auguring that it will be a great success and all because backing this project is an important businessman who in partnership with Matthew Caruana Galizia’s accolade. Yet on this project, which is going to ruin Comino once and for all, Matthew Caruana Galizia remains silent.
What is truly scandalous is how this Government has permitted this family to do as it pleases including reducing a judicial case to shambles. Daphne Caruana Galizia was right when stating that they ought to be ashamed!
