PN Figures Aligned with Repubblika Show No Hesitation in Posing with Trump’s Ambassador

A few days ago, Repubblika openly attacked Donald Trump, even though he was democratically elected and operates within the constitutional checks and balances of the American political system. The organisation even staged a vigil in front of the American Embassy, accusing Trump of presiding over a United States that is “no longer a democracy”.

Yet yesterday, the American Embassy hosted a reception marking the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, an event attended by prominent PN figures closely aligned with Repubblika. These same individuals had no qualms about attending a reception hosted by Trump’s Ambassador or about posing for photographs with her.

At the same time, the Repubblika association has accused me of being a fascist and a mafioso for supporting, among others, Donald Trump. This site has followed Trump since he entered politics and since his first election as President of the United States.

Now, the very same MPs and delegates from the Partit Nazzjonalista who support and promote Repubblika and its satellite organisations attend a reception organised by the Ambassador of the very president they portray as the embodiment of political evil. And then, the Partit Nazzjonalista expects to be taken seriously by the electorate.
