Listen to Professor Jeffrey Sachs as he refutes the claim made by Biden’s team that the war in Ukraine was an “unprovoked invasion.”
Professor Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University provides a compelling explanation of the origins of the Ukraine war in a speech delivered at the Oxford Debating Society. In his analysis, Sachs argues that the Democratic Party bears responsibility for the conflict. He attributes this to the reckless expansion of NATO under President Clinton, which eroded Russia’s trust in the United States and the West. Sachs highlights that the U.S. had promised Russia there would be no NATO expansion eastward in exchange for German reunification—a promise that was later broken.
As a result, Biden and his administration misrepresented the war as unprovoked. Now, with a new president seeking to repair relations, liberals and pacifists on the left are determined to undermine him because they want the war in Ukraine to continue.

Li kieku ma kienx għan-NATO kieku Putin ġa ħataf l-Estonja, il-Latvia u l-Litwanja. Mhux ta’ min jafdah.
Putin m’ghandux bzonn jahtaf dawk li jsejhu pajjizi Baltici. Dawn iddghajfu wehedhom. Minn mindu sfaxxat l-Unjoni Sovjetika, il-popolazzjoni taghhom naqset b’xi hamsin fil-mija (50%).
