A New Gender Concept Has Emerged—“Gender Season”

This concept allows individuals to identify their gender with the seasons, meaning their gender is connected and may change depending on seasonal shifts. Those who adopt this identity experience a “gender season,” reflecting the growing diversity in how gender is conceptualised.

“Gender season” ties gender to the cyclical nature of seasons and their emotional, physical, or spiritual resonance. This identification emphasises the fluidity of gender and how it can be influenced by external factors such as time, environment, and personal growth.

Season-based gender identities may shift how individuals feel or express their gender depending on seasonal changes, such as feeling more aligned with one gender during summer and another during winter. This concept aligns with broader themes in gender discourse that challenge fixed definitions, promoting the idea of gender as dynamic and responsive to lived experiences.

Notably, this development further distinguishes gender from sex.
