Exclusive: Robert Abela chooses Joseph Muscat as the star candidate in the forthcoming elections on June 8

This site can confirm what it has already announced: Robert Abela chose Joseph Muscat as the star candidate in the forthcoming European elections on June 8, 2024. This choice was made in reply to the candidature of Roberta Metsola, the only PN candidate worth any salt.

Robert Abela’s decision to turn to Joseph Muscat results from the fact that no candidate the Labour Party has at present can match the candidature of Roberta Metsola, who is expected to garner over 75,000 votes for the Nationalist Party in the European Parliamentary elections.

Robert Abela’s decision has the absolute backing of the Labour Parliamentary Group. However, the same cannot be said for some individuals who work at Castille and are trusted by Robert Abela.

His decision is based on the fact that, as Prime Minister, he has surveys in hand that reveal the extent of thousands of traditional Labourites who, so far, have no intention of going to the polls. Indications are that with the candidature of Joseph Muscat, the majority of Labourites who so far do not wish to cast their vote will change their mind, go out to vote and give their support to Joseph Muscat.

Everything bears witness to the fact that should Joseph Muscat and the Labour Party confirm the former’s candidature, the Labour Party will win the European Parliamentary elections with a majority of 38,000 votes on the PN.
