My reply to Ray Fenech’s press release

As always, when I receive a right of reply, I publish it on my site. The Tumas Group took a sentence in one of my blogs out of context wherein I stated that “In truth, the Oracle Casino – the one owned by Fenech is operated by the Austrian company Novamatic“, without taking into consideration the full text. For this reason, The Tumas Group chairman, Ray Fenech, issued the following press release which I am publishing in full.

In reality, had one read carefully my full article, it is not about the management of The Tumas Gaming Ltd, but about the slot machines and that they cannot be manipulated because as I stated “all the casinos and those owned by the Fenech are no exception, are subject to inspection by government officials and have to report every single win and jackpot“.

What I find strange in this case is the fact that whenever there is a Right of Reply, it is normally sent directly to the person concerned and not to all media houses simultaneously. But errare humanum est. Nevertheless, I would like to thank the CEO of the Tumas Group for issuing this press release, because it shows that I am not in anybody’s pocket and what I attempt to do is purely to analyse facts.
