How can the Opposition be credible in its criticism of the traffic situation at Marsa when it endorsed the event that caused the traffic congestion?
Following my article yesterday, I received this excellent comment about traffic congestion created by the Sigma event. It deserves to be a stand-alone comment.
“Meanwhile, an ex-MP, who is one of Malta’s finest lawyers, has exposed something about this new venue and about the deal that was struck for the Expo to be held in an area specifically not designed and not intended for this particular use. Unsurprisingly, we saw the Prime Minister, Ministers Schembri and Bartolo waltzing in the venue with Eman Pulis the day after Malta was stuck in traffic. The surprise for me was seeing Bernard Grech, Castillo and Jerome Caruana Cilia also visiting Sigma! How can they be taken seriously if they speak about the traffic situation in Marsa during a parliamentary session? Why didn’t they run to the NAO to investigate how the venue was rented to Sigma? Why do we feel the need to suck up to this Eman Pulis guy constantly?”

To add insult to injury, Eman Pulis has just posted on social media boasting about how moving to this new makeshift venue was a good idea – because new clients want in big! Typical attitude of someone who is an egoist, self-centred, feeling comfortable that both Government and Opposition are on his side, knowing that whoever is in power will continue to give him thousands and millions in funding (from entities like Ministries and Authorities such as MGA and MTA). Insomma, attitude which can be summed up as “I’m OK, F*** you Jack (and Gahan Malti)”
