I am reproducing an article that Daphne Caruana Galizia had written about Matt Bonanno. This article is extremely worrying. But the most interesting aspect for me, is not its content wherein Daphne Caruana Galizia speaks about Matt Bonanno’s character but a very nasty story that a number of readers of Daphne’s blog somehow also brought up and linked to this satirist’s name.
This was a story that had a tragic ending. A young teenager lost her life. For those who would like to know more, they may read the comments underneath Daphne’s article.
But what I found interesting is how the Left and the Liberals came out to defend Bonanno and amongst those defending his actions, are individuals who portray themselves as staunch defenders of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s case.
