Covid19 projections are turning Science into propaganda

I am republishing a letter sent by an academic to the Daily Telegraph UK, wherein he accused Professor Neil Ferguson and his staff of manipulating statistical data. Rightly so, this academic insists that this is harming science and the effects will be long-lasting and will result in the public losing faith in science. In Malta, we are having academics who are parroting these apocalyptic Covid projections to the local population. I honestly hope that the way the local government is gathering statistical data is not according to these false mathematical models. Normally, Maltese authorities have a tendency to follow the UK models in the studying of Covid19 statistics. In the past, I have already had the occasion to show that a mathematical model that was being used by the local Health Authorities was completely fallacious.
