Why has the husband of judge Lofaro removed the plaque of L&TD Fiduciaries from the façade of his office?

Dr. Pierre Lofaro and associate have removed the plaque L&TD Fiduciaries from the façade of their office in Archbishop Street Valletta. L&TD Fiduciaries was a shareholder of Green Eyes Ltd and the company Green Eyes Ltd was involved in the sale of a house in Mdina, where 300,000 euros were paid in cash, at the request of the sellers, on the signing of the promise of sale.

What is strange in this case is the reason why Dr. Pierre Lofaro, who is Madame Justice Abigail Lofaro’s husband, and his associate have removed this plaque when L&TD Fiduciaries is still listed as operating from their office in Archbishop Street Valletta.

L&TD Fiduciaries was a shareholder of Green Eyes Ltd, the company involved in the controversial sale of the Imdina Property between Yorgen Fenech and Joe Camilleri. In this sale, Rosianne Cutajar and Charles it-Tikka were alleged to have acted as middlemen.

The removal of a plaque does not mean that a company no longer exists. In this case, why was it removed?
