Why was it only on the night of 15th October 2017 that Daphne’s car was left outside the compound?

Yesterday, we had another sitting in the compilation of evidence against the Agius brothers, known as tal-Maksar and Jamie Vella.

Once again, Vince Muscat (il-Koħħu) mentioned  the problems that the hitmen were facing in placing the bomb in Daphne Caruana Galizia’s car since she never left her car outside her home compound. This is what Muscat stated in court about this particular point.

Therefore, in yesterday’s sitting, Muscat adds another important detail. He states that he and the two other hitmen had nearly given up on Daphne leaving her car outside. Then, the unexplained happened. On that Sunday evening that the car was left out of the compound. Nobody bothered to move it into the compound. Why? Have the police investigated this fact? Indeed, why did no member of the Caruana Galizia family park it inside? At least one member of the family declared that it was quite normal for him to leave the car outside.

Yet, from the court witnesses we have heard that on the evening of October 15, 2017 was the first time that the hitmen had ever found the car being left on the road and not within the compound ever since they had been keeping watch at Bidnija for a favourable opportunity to carry out the murder.
